ANFAC representatives held a meeting with members of the Working Group on Vehicle Traffic of the Guarantee Mark

València, March 29th, 2023.- A delegation from the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC) visited the Port of Valencia this week to see first hand the services and facilities of the Valencian port for vehicle traffic.

Likewise, the ANFAC delegation held a meeting with members of the Vehicle Traffic Working Group of the Guarantee Mark in which representatives of the Maritime Customs, the Port Employment Centre (CPE), the CPE works committee, Valencia Terminal Europa and personnel from different areas of the PAV were present. The aim was to find out the needs of the vehicle manufacturers to adopt measures to improve the operation of services for this type of traffic.

Valenciaport handled around 600,000 units of new unregistered vehicles in 2022, 22.5% more than the previous year. Specifically, the Port of Valencia handled more than 485,000 units, 23% more than in 2021, while the Sagunto site handled 115,000 vehicles, representing an increase of 18.5%. A positive trend that continues at the start of this year, with nearly 100,000 units handled between January and February, representing an increase of 5%.
