The Port Authority of Valencia opens the port to citizens and has enabled the mechanism to receive visits from individuals and groups interested in learning about the activity that takes place in the port of Valencia.
In 2015, Valenciaport handled over 70 million tons of goods with countries on five continents. This figure makes Valenciaport the most used port by the importing and exporting companies of our country in its commercial relations with 84 other countries in the world.
The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) has published its new guide “Living the port environmentally”, a new publication with which it wants to publicize all the actions it carries out in the field of protection of the natural environment in the three port areas that manages.
Valenciaport has been selected by the European Maritime Ports Organization (ESPO), as the European port of the month. During these days and until the beginning of the year, a detailed profile of Valenciaport will occupy a prominent place in the portal of the most important association of ports that exists at European level.

Valenciaport ended the month of November with a 1.46% increase in the total traffic of goods handled through the three ports managed by the Port Authority of Valencia (Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia).
The port of Sagunto ended the month of November with a total traffic of 5,908,632 tonnes, a figure that means the return of the enclosure to the positive path with an increase of 0.40%.
The port of Gandia ended the month of November with a 13.45% increase in paper and pulp. Total traffic of these goods rose by 166,460 tonnes, consolidating the port as the reference enclave for this type of cargo.
