València, 17 October 2023. Valenciaport participated in the 13th AECOC Supply Chain Congress. This meeting, organised by the largest national multi-sector business association, brought together the top managers of the Spanish logistics sector and was attended by more than a hundred companies and nearly 400 supply chain specialists.

Rafael Romero, head of Commercial and Business Development of the Port Authority of València (PAV), represented Valenciaport at this logistics meeting where he held business meetings with the main companies in the sector to explain the value proposition of Valenciaport, the leading Spanish port in the Mediterranean with links to a thousand ports around the world.

During the meeting, and under the premise ‘Discovering the new value chain’, the main challenges facing logistics were addressed: prospects for the FMCG sector, digitalisation and talent management.

AECOC is a business association that brings together 33,000 companies in the sector, including producers and manufacturers, logistics operators and distributors. It is also a multi-sector association that includes companies in the FMCG, HORECA, Health, Hardware and DIY and Consumer Electronics sectors, among others.
