THE PORT AUTHORITY OF VALENCIA WILL INVEST IN ITS THREE PORTS MORE THAN 233 MILLION UNTIL 2020

​​The Business Plan approved at the last Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Valencia contemplates investments in its three ports of 56.19 million euros during 2017 and plans to invest more than 177 million euros during the period 2018-2020.

The Port Authority of Valencia opens the port to citizens and has enabled the mechanism to receive visits from individuals and groups interested in learning about the activity that takes place in the port of Valencia.

​In 2015, Valenciaport handled over 70 million tons of goods with countries on five continents. This figure makes Valenciaport the most used port by the importing and exporting companies of our country in its commercial relations with 84 other countries in the world.

During these days and until the beginning of the year, a detailed profile of Valenciaport will occupy a prominent place in the portal of the most important association of ports that exists at European level.

Valenciaport ended the month of November with a 1.46% increase in the total traffic of goods handled through the three ports managed by the Port Authority of Valencia (Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia).

CONTAINER TRAFFIC IN THE PORT OF SAGUNTO GROWS BY 82.35% FROM JANUARY TO NOVEMBER

​​The port of Sagunto ended the month of November with a total traffic of 5,908,632 tonnes, a figure that means the return of the enclosure to the positive path with an increase of 0.40%.

PAPER TRAFFIC GREW BY 13.45% UNTIL NOVEMBER IN THE PORT OF GANDIA

The port of Gandia ended the month of November with a 13.45% increase in paper and pulp. Total traffic of these goods rose by 166,460 tonnes, consolidating the port as the reference enclave for this type of cargo.

The General Director of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Francesc Sánchez; and the director of Noatum Container Terminal Valencia (Noatum CTV) have received from the hands of Jorge Aldegunde, general manager of the Lloyd’s Register Spain Group, the certification of the compliance of both companies with the UNE-ISO 50001 standard of energy efficiency management systems.
