Valenciaport has placed its most emblematic headquarters at the disposal of the Down’s Syndrome Association of Valencia to give visibility to people with Down’s Syndrome, on the International Day of the “genetically rebellious”, as indicated by the slogan chosen and highlighted for the occasion. To this end, the Port of Valencia has hung a large banner on the main façade of the Clock Building, which will remain on display for three days, clearly showing the message of a “rebellious” girl calling attention to the 21st March – World Down’s Syndrome Day.

The placement of the banner has been an initiative of the Down Syndrome Association of Valencia, an entity founded in 1989 with the aim of giving visibility and creating resources for the promotion of the autonomy of people with this syndrome. This association works closely with families and people affected from the moment of diagnosis and throughout all stages of life.
