Valencia, February 11, 2018.- Valenciaport has participated in Fruit Logistics, the most important fair in the fruit and vegetable sector, which this year has gathered in Berlin. In addition to a broad agenda of meetings, among the objectives of Valenciaport has been to provide institutional support to its refrigerated product terminal, Friopuerto, with the aim of positioning it as a warehouse for refrigerated products from the first Mediterranean port.

During the days that the fair lasted, the delegation of Valenciaport- formed by Mar Chao, commercial and business development director of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), the general director of the PAV, Francesc Sánchez; and the shipping director of the PAV, Manuel Rodríguez- has held meetings with its finalist clients with the aim of adapting to the demands and needs of their export jobs. Also, representatives of Valenciaport have participated in various initiatives carried out by the Generalitat. For the second year, the Valenciaport stand has accommodated the product of the company LaserFood, a Valencian company dedicated to the identification of food units through laser marking.

Cool Logistics 2019

Valenciaport has taken advantage of its presence in Fruit Logistics to promote Cool Logistics Global 2019. For three days, Valenciaport will meet in September the main agents of the logistics chain and will offer a meeting place in which owners of the perishable cargo, professionals of logistics and transport, as well as representatives of shipping companies and port authorities will be able to discuss and evaluate the technological keys, market trends, projects and possibilities that arise for the international movement of refrigerated and frozen cargo.
