The activity of the Port of València has not been altered thanks to the coordination of the port community.

The activity of Valenciaport is proceeding normally after receiving at the docks of the Port of Valencia the first ship that was held up by the blockade of the Suez Canal, the MSC Le Havre, a container ship that arrived this morning in the waters of the port to carry out a loading (export) and unloading (import) operation of 2,300 containers of consumer goods coming from or destined for the Far East.

The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) has emphasised that operations are running normally, with the capacity to accommodate all the vessels in the docks, thanks to the collaboration of the port community, both port services and the transport sector. These operations were discussed at the coordination meeting of the Marca de Garantia, where more than 150 companies and institutions from all the agents operating in the Port of Valencia are represented.

Two new ships that were detained in the Suez Canal are scheduled to arrive tomorrow: Conti Everest and the CMA CGM Centaurus. And in the next few days, between 10 and 12 more ships are expected to dock at the Port of Valencia after the Ever Griven ran aground, which will be added to the daily activity of Valenciaport. An extra task which, thanks to the capacity and professionalism of the port community, can be dealt with normally.

In addition, it should be noted that the action of shipping companies and agents is making it possible to recover time in the stopovers made by ships along the Mediterranean to facilitate the flow of export goods destined for Asian markets.
