More than 400 children from different schools came together in an initiative promoted by Aportem

The First Aportem Solidarity Football Tournament culminated in a festive day of sport and solidarity for the youngest children in the Maritime District of Valencia. More than 400 boys and girls from different schools came together in an initiative promoted by the Valencian port community, through Aportem – Solidarity Port Valencia.

The Aportem and Club Atlético Nazaret event had the altruistic collaboration of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), the Fundació del Valencia C.F., the Fundación Cent Anys del Levante Unión Deportiva, Consum, Importaco and Novaterra Catering.

A total of six schools took part: Santiago Apostol, Ausìas March, Juan Manuel Montoya, Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, Nuestra Señora del Carmen and Ballester Fandos, all located in Nazaret and the Maritime District of Valencia. The management and teaching staff of these schools played an important role in the success of the complex initiative.

Three buses provided by the organisation picked up the children between 6 and 12 years old and took them to the Nazaret Sports Centre, where the multitudinous event took place. The children were provided with lunch and various gifts, including a Valencia CF shirt and a Levante UD shirt for each participant.

After the success of this edition, Aportem wants to reinforce and give continuity to the initiative with different actions that add more incentive for the second edition, such as performances by clowns or magicians, to round off this festival of solidarity and sport.
