The committee shown the interest for the north part of the port of Valencia ampliation plans as well as for the connections between the Valencian area with the German port of Hamburg.

Valencia, 8 November 2018.- Valenciaport has received the visit of a German delegation headed by the delegate at the community of Valencia of the German chamber of commerce for Spain, Lozano Schindelhm and the Honorary consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, Gaspar Ripoll. The committee has also been integrated by the German-Spanish circle of Valencia and by members of the Alumni association of the German school of Valencia. In representation of the port authority of Valenica (PAV), the meeting has been attended by Francesca Antonelli, head of marketing.

In total, 34 professionals attended, among whom are representatives of important companies, lawyers and architects, like: Lozano, Hilgers & partners SLP, Lufthansa, SanLucar Fruit, Heizomat ando Global Health Consulting DACHES, among others. The day allowed the assistants know first-hand the strategic location of the port of Valencia, as well as its area of influence and the key point that supposes for the Spanish foreign trade.

During the visit, the attendees showed special interest in the knowledge of the north ampliation, a project that contemplates public and private investments over 1.200 million euros and that will situate Valenciaport as third port of Europe, with a running capacity of 12,5 million TEUs. Likewise, the visitors wanted to know the typology of companies that operate in Valenciaport, as well as the connections between the port of Hamburg and northern Europe.
