The exhibition, open to the public until May the 3rd, has exceeded 5,000 visits.

The exhibition reviews the history, functions and development of all the emblematic buildings of the Port of Valencia.

Located in the Clock Building of the Port of Valencia, it is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day of the week.

Valencia, April the 26th 2018. – One week before its closure, the exhibition “The Historical Dock of the Port of Valencia: Progress and Modernity” has now surpassed 5,000 visitors. Since it was opened to the public, on March the 29th, the flow of visitors interested in the exhibition, located in the Clock Building of the Port of Valencia, has been constant. Specifically, 5,146 visits have already been registered, of which 40% are foreign.

Located in the Clock Building of the Port of Valencia, the exhibition reviews the history, functions and development of all the emblematic buildings in the history of the Port of Valencia, characteristic of a time where the Valencian site was beginning to be considered a reference port in the city in international trade. These buildings are the Maritime Station (current Clock Building), the Tinglados, the Varaderos, the Commercial Docks and Customs. The exhibition was curated by the historian Ester Medán, with the collaboration of Andrea Ortiz and Arturo Monfort, director of I+D+ I of the ValenciaPort Foundation.

In addition to the plans and photographs documented, the exhibition offers a didactic space for children where they can make adaptations of the most emblematic buildings. The drawings of the youngest will be exhibited along with the rest of the exhibition.
