A delegation of Ciudadanos (Cs) led by the syndicalist in Les Corts, Ruth Merino, has visited the facilities of the Port of Sagunto to see first-hand the activity and services of the port area. In the first nine months of the year, the Port of Sagunto has handled a total of 4,810,054 tonnes of goods, in multi-purpose facilities characterised by the movement of vehicles, iron and steel products, natural gas, construction materials and agri-food products, among others.

The Ciudadanos (Cs) trustee, Ruth Merino, was accompanied by the Cs spokesperson in Sagunto, Salvador Montesinos, the Cs spokesperson in the Diputación de Valencia, Rocío Gil, the deputy spokesperson of the party in Les Corts, Mamen Peris, the provincial deputy Jesús Gimeno and the spokesperson in the Ayuntamiento de Valencia, Fernando Giner. The representatives of Ciudadanos have highlighted the importance of maritime traffic to boost economic activity and competitiveness of the province of Valencia and its surroundings, and the commitment that is being made in the port area by the rail connection.
