• The Port Authority of València (PAV) will be exhibiting the actions it is implementing to contribute to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change at the International Fair of Environmental Solutions (Ecofira 2023) from 14 to 16 November 
  • These initiatives join other sustainable management actions being implemented by the port community. All of them can be seen on the information panels located on the Valenciaport stand at the Ecofira: number C52 in hall 2 level 3 
  • Also, within the framework of the fair, Valenciaport is taking part in the conference “Environmental sustainability: beyond waste collection, transport and treatment” organised by REDIT, where the PAV’s progress in the field of decarbonisation will be presented

València, 10 November 2023.- The ongoing projects and objectives of the environmental strategy of the Port Authority of València (PAV) ‘Valenciaport 2030: Zero Emissions’ are present in the edition of Ecofira 2023 which is being held from 14 to 16 November at Feria València.

Valenciaport’s stand has been designed with panels that describe the different actions being implemented to contribute to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change. These initiatives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations.

Initiatives that promote the circular economy, the sustainable management of natural resources, the reduction of polluting emissions, the promotion of the circular economy, the sustainable management of natural resources and the reduction of polluting emissions are some of the actions developed by Valenciaport to comply with its strategy and achieve the objective of becoming a 100% green port by 2030.

In addition, this space will also showcase the actions being carried out by the Valenciaport Foundation and the companies and institutions working in the port sector, such as Amarradores Valencia, APM Terminals, Aportem, Baleària, Docks Logistic, Galp, InterSagunto Terminals, MSC Terminal Valencia, Noatum Terminal, Seroil Reciclamás, Servmar, Tepsa, Rubis, Transmed, Valencia Terminal Europa and Vareser.

Round Table

Within the framework of the International Environmental Solutions Fair, the Port Authority of València is participating in the Conference “Environmental Sustainability: beyond waste collection, transport and treatment” which will take place on 14 November 2023, in the conference area of Feria Valencia. Raúl Cascajo, head of Environmental Policies at Valenciaport, will take part in the first-round table of the conference: “Decarbonisation: how can we achieve it?” which is scheduled for 11.30 am.

The aim of these conferences, promoted by REDIT (Network of Technology Institutes of the Valencian Community), is to raise awareness of the technologies and opportunities on the road to environmental sustainability. In them, leading experts will analyse the current situation and problems, as well as the funding programmes and technologies that exist to make this change possible.
