The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) speeds up the accounting and bill payment procedures to shorten the payment period to suppliers, thus helping to mitigate the negative effects of this pandemic, as far as possible.
Valencia, March 2020.- Due to the current circumstances in relation to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, and following the contagion prevention measures recommended by the Health Authorities, the Valencia Port Authority (PAV) has established the internal mechanisms necessary to process invoices with the greatest speed.
The objective is to make weekly payments until the state of alarm ends in order to minimize the treasury difficulties that may be experienced by providers or service providers of the Port Authority.
This measure will be effective from next week.
