The Director of Innovation of State – owned Ports Body, José Llorca; and the president of the PAV, Aurelio Martinez, participate on June 27 in the day “Ports 4.0: Insomnia Tech Summit’19”.

Valencia, 21 June 2019.- The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) will take part next June 27 in the day “Ports 4.0 Insomnia Tech Summit ´19” organized by State – owned Ports Body, KPMG and the Hub of Innovation specializing in the acceleration and project incubation of technological base: Insomnia. The meeting will be inaugurated by the director of planning and strategic development of State – owned Ports Body, Álvaro Rodríguez; and for the president of the APV, Aurelio Martínez.

During the forum, which will take place in the Insomnia head office in Valencia in schedule of 16:30 at 18 hours, José Llorca, the director of innovation of State – owned Ports Body, will present the keys of the Fund of Innovation 4.0 an initiative opened for the ecosystem port and promoted by State – owned Ports Body in collaboration with the Port Authorities. After this paper it will be passed to the round table “Tradetech, transverse engine of the digitization of the economy”, will be opened, with the participation of José Llorca, Ramón Gómez-Ferrer, the director of strategy and innovation of the PAV; Pigeon Squire, chief of the division of innovation of the Port Authority of Cartagena; and Joaquim Martínez, governing management Consulting of KPMG Introduces Valley and that there will be moderated by Rafael Navarro, associate co-founder of Insomnia as moderator.

Fund 4.0 of State – owned Ports Body

The Fund Ports 4.0 State – owned Ports Body is a compensation fund interportuario aimed at promoting and actively incorporating the disruptive innovation as an element of competitiveness in the logistics sector-Spanish port both public and private. The Fund is endowed with EUR 25 million. For its activation there has been awarded the office of support and the creation of the incubator or accelerating corporate to a UTE formed by KPMG and Insomnia, the Valencian hub of innovation. This UTE will have presence in 12 ports of general interest of the country.
