The Mark of Guarantee has held a new session of the Council of Quality of port of Sagunto, chaired by Francesc Sánchez, general director of Port Authority of Valencia.
In the course of the meeting, the topics of the different Working Groups as well as the news of the Brand system in this area were discussed.
During the session, the New Vehicle procedure of the Port of Sagunto has been approved, which establishes a new performance guarantee for the loading and unloading of new cars. The Vehicle Working Group will carry out tests to verify the sustainability of the performances of these yields before the definitive entry into force of this new guarantee.
In addition, the Quality Council of the Port of Sagunto has approved the Billing Guide for of this enclosure, a document that aims to provide greater transparency to the billing process to benefit the final customers of the port: shipping lines and cargo generators –importers and exporters.
Meanwhile, during the session it has proceeded to the reactivation of the Working Group on Iron and Steel, one of the traditional traffic of Sagunto´s enclave. This group has analyzed the evolution of this traffic in recent months and initiatives have been taken to boost the growth of steel products in this enclosure.
Finally, the Quality Council has also assessed the state of the latest initiatives arising from the solid container and bulk traffic working groups. In this regard, we have reviewed issues such as the approval of the new border inspection center in Sagunto, the project of rail access to the port, works for the access of heavy machinery to the dock center II and South II or the authorization of automatic exit for containers among others.
