València, 6th June 2023.- Joan Calabuig, president of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), and Antonio Santa Isabel Llanos, president of the Teruel Chamber of Commerce, have held a meeting and subsequent visit to the facilities of the Valencia port.
Together with their work teams, the heads of the two institutions reviewed the progress of the rehabilitation project of the ADIF Sagunto-Teruel-Zaragoza line, highlighting the imminent opening of seven operational sidings.
During the meeting, they also reviewed the progress of the PLATEA (Aragón Plataforma Logística) railway terminal expansion works – started in January – which include the construction of a road access to the railway freight terminal. Finally, they talked about upcoming business investments that will be carried out in Teruel and that favour the development of the Cantabrian-Mediterranean axis.
For Cámara Teruel, “the support of Valenciaport has been decisive in the development project of the railway line and has favoured the attraction of business investments to the province”.
