Logitren and Casa Montaña join as new members of Aportem.

The Association is in the middle of the Christmas campaign, mainly aimed at children in the port area.

The Electoral Assembly of Aportem-Puerto Solidario Valencia, unanimously decided last 14th December to renew the Board of Directors of the Association. The Board, which was elected in January 2018, remains intact in all its positions, being renewed, in principle, for the next four years. The composition of the board is as follows:

  • Presidency: Francisco Prado (Grupo Diario-Diario del Puerto Group).
  • First Vice-presidency: Aurelio Martínez (Port Authority of Valencia)
  • Second Vice-presidency: José Oliver (Infoport)
  • Secretariat: Pilar Blaya (Valenciaport Foundation)
  • Treasury: Carla Sapiña (Infoport)
  • Vocal Members: Emilio Guardiola (Colegio de Agentes de Aduanas), Luis Rosa (ATEIA Valencia), Pau Sarro (Amarradores), Gustavo Ferrer (CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal), Javier Andreu (Boluda Corporación Marítima), Paula Casais (Asociación Naviera Valenciana) and Juan Cubells (Propeller Valencia).

The Electoral Assembly was preceded by the Ordinary General Assembly in which, among other issues, Aportem’s budget for 2022 was approved.  At the same meeting, the final approval was given for the incorporation of two new members: Logitren and Casa Montaña. As highlighted at the meeting, the incorporation of Casa Montaña opens the door to attracting members also among individuals, establishments and companies in the Maritime District, even if they are not directly linked to port activity. Both assemblies, with almost all the members connected, were held by videoconference due to the unfavourable evolution of the pandemic. At the meeting, Francisco Prado, president of Aportem, highlighted the intense and growing activity carried out by the Association, especially during these times of pandemic.
