València, March 26th, 2024.- After the recent meetings of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of Aportem-Puerto Solidario Valencia, the constant increase of the solidarity action of this association has been highlighted. The association is working with more and more people in the area surrounding the Port of Valencia, through more schools and more institutions. This growing demand for collaboration means that the funds available to Aportem are becoming increasingly scarce.
In the working meetings, the president, Paco Prado, explained the need to increase the social mass of Aportem, in order to have more funds to serve more people. Several initiatives were discussed to try to attract new individuals, companies and institutions interested in CSR applied to their immediate environment. Among them is the dissemination of the companies, institutions, professionals and individuals who are already part of Aportem, thus seeking a call effect.
The campaign will be carried out through direct communication with potential new members and media outreach to those who wish to collaborate. It is expected to be launched after Easter.
In addition to the mandatory approval of Aportem’s accounts for 2023, details of what will be the III Solidarity Football Tournament that Aportem, organized jointly with CD Atlético Nazaret, to be held next May, were advanced. This sports and solidarity initiative brings together every year more than 400 children from the Maritime District, in a sports and solidarity day. Aportem coordinates the help of different companies and institutions so that the children can once again enjoy their tournament.
Aportem – Puerto Solidario Valencia, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2023, is an association declared of public utility by the Ministry of the Interior, totally private, formed by associations, institutions, companies and individuals linked to the port sector and the Maritime District of Valencia. Its actions are mainly focused on the environment of the Port of Valencia, with special attention to the care of the environment and children at risk of social exclusion.
