​Valenciaport received this morning the visit of a Ukrainian delegation business group, specialized (Cotecna) that, among other services, is specialized in inspection and certification of quality standards for imported products, with nearly 100 offices in over 60 countries.

The delegation has had the presence of Arina Korchmaryova, vice president of Cotecna in Ukraine and Maika Serrano, manager of Cotecna Spain, among others, that have been received by Juan Miguel Bernat, responsible for the bulk traffic of the Port Authority (PAV) Jorge Civera, technical commercial, and Rafael Abraira, manager of the Maritime Bulk Terminal (Temagra).

The meeting’s objective reflects the interest of the delegation of Cotecna in Ukraine (many of their customers usually trade through the port of Valencia) for strengthening and enhancing the existing agro line between Ukraine and Eastern Europe with Spain. In this regard, the delegation of Cotecna wanted to see firsthand the processes and facilities of the bulk cargo terminal, TEMAGRA, in order to certify and guarantee their quality standards.

The encounter with this important prescriber of Valencia port services has ended after a tour around the facilities of the Maritime Bulk Terminal, where the Ukrainian delegation has showed to the representatives of the APV and the terminal their “satisfaction with the high standards quality observed both in its facilities and employees in their processes.”
