The Port Authority of Valencia will be present at the Seatrade Cruise Global to be held from 25 to 28 April in Miami

The cruise industry is a sector that contributes to economic activity thanks to the variety and diversification of the offer for cruise passengers docking in Valencia

València, April 22th, 2022.- The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) will promote the tourist offer that the Valencia area has to offer to the thousands of cruise passengers who dock at the Port of Valencia every year. Valenciaport will be present at the most important fair in the cruise sector, the Seatrade Cruise Global to be held in Miami (United States) between 25 and 28 April.

The APV delegation will present the experiences offered by Valencian municipalities at the world’s leading event for companies and organisations seeking or currently doing business with the international cruise industry. Valenciaport will showcase its port facilities and tourism offer to industry professionals from all over the world. The Valencian delegation will be headed by Francesca Antonelli, head of Marketing and Cruises.

The event will showcase the new tourism offer of Valencia as a destination, the result of the joint work carried out by Valenciaport, the Generalitat Valenciana, the Valencia Provincial Council and the City Council. A differentiated offer based on experiences, safety and the needs of visitors. Thus, in addition to the wide range of urban and countryside activities, there are new alternatives for lovers of the outdoors, sports and hiking, and more sustainable options such as bicycle and skateboarding tours. In addition, gastronomic, cultural, wine, musical or historical experiences will be promoted, making Valencia a multiple and varied experience that facilitates mobility and avoids saturation of destinations. The Port of Valencia has established itself as a destination for specialised shipping companies, both for family audiences and those aimed at premium visitors, or even for expeditions.
