The event, to be held on 22 November, will bring together managers and executives from the export/import industry.

Three informative sessions will be held with the presence of representatives from Valenciaport and the logistics community.

The conference will explain the services and customer-focused strategies offered by the leading container port in Spain and the fourth largest in Europe

Valenciaport is reinforcing its face-to-face commercial action in its reference enclaves in its hinterland with an event in Madrid organised by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid and the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV).

Valenciaport is a key player in the Madrid and Spanish economy: 60% of the containers in the Madrid region are operated through the Port of Valencia. The conference will explain the services and customer-focused strategies offered by the leading container port in Spain and fourth in Europe.

The event ‘Valenciaport. Puerto de Madrid’ will take place next Tuesday 22nd November at 9.45 am at the Palacio Santoña in Madrid and will be attended by managers and directors of leading import/export companies from Madrid and Valencia.

The media can attend the three informative sessions of the event, as well as the briefing for journalists scheduled for 11.00 am.

The day will be opened by the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid, Eva Serrano, and the president of the PAV, Aurelio Martínez. Afterwards, Pilar Caro, director of the Conexus Foundation, will conduct an interview with the head of Valenciaport.

The event will continue with two panels, the first on ‘Capacity, connectivity and service’ and the second on ‘Customer-focused strategy’. The first of these, moderated by Manuel García, head of Business Intelligence of the PAV, will be attended by: Ignacio Ballester, Deputy Country Manager of MSC Spain; Javier Cubas, Valencia Branch Office Manager & Global Key Accounts Manager Spain, COSCO Shipping; and Francesc Sánchez, general manager of the PAV.

In the second of these, moderated by Cristina Rodríguez, head of Commercial and Clients of the PAV and with the title ‘Strategy focused on the client’, the following will take part: Maria José González, Country Manager, Raminatrans SL; Nuria Lacaci, general secretary of the Spanish Shippers’ Association; Pedro Catalán, managing director of CSP Logitren; and Víctor Giner, head of Digital Transformation of the PAV.
