València, 1 February 2024.- The Tomás Llavador architectural and engineering firm will be responsible for drawing up the urban development project for the area around the ‘Tinglados’ and the controlled area of the Port of Gandia. The contracting platform of Valenciaport has already published the awarding of the contract to reorganise the area located in the South Quay of the port of Gandia (next to the southern façade of the ‘Tinglados’) and the space from the ‘Tinglados’ to Juan de la Cierva street and Ronda Venecia (where the PAV offices, the buildings of the customs inspection bodies or the Maritime Captaincy, among others, are located).

The amount of the contract award is 139,421.25 euros (VAT not included) and the execution period is six months (to be executed from 22 February 2024) with three interruptions established for review of the development phases of the project. Therefore, the expected date for the end of the drafting of the project is the end of October 2024.

The purpose of the contract is the drafting of the Basic and Execution Project for Urbanisation, Development of the Supply Installations, Waste Management Study, Health and Safety Study and the drafting of the Quality Control plan, necessary to define the works to be carried out and how they are to be carried out, specifying the characteristics of the materials to be used and the specifications of the different work units to be executed. Once the project has been completed, the works will be put out to tender, with an approximate duration of 6 months.
