In a meeting held at the PAV, representatives of COSCO have transferred to Valenciaport their satisfaction for the evolution of their activities in Valencia and have shown their interest in new projects

València, 22nd March of 2019.- The president of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Aurelio Martinez and the vice president of COSCO Shipping Group, Sun Jiakang, attended yesterday a working meeting at the headquarters of the PAV. The meeting, which showed the good climate between the two institutions since the Chinese company began operating as the first shareholder of Noatum Container Terminal Valencia, discussed the evolution of the activity developed by COSCO Valencia (both as a shipping company and Noatum terminalist), a very satisfactory balance as moved by the Chinese business representative.

In addition to the vice president of COSCO Shipping Group, the Chinese delegation was represented by Tian, Dong, vice president of Cosco Shipping Europe; Chan Hang, vice president of Noatum Ports Holding; Liu Xuan, Manager of Cosco Shipping Group; Yu Fan, Manger of Cosco Shipping Group; Huang Cunxun, General Manager of Cosco Shipping Spain; Sun Kai, CEO of Noatum Ports; and Elías García, General Director of Operations of Noatum Ports.

On behalf of the PAV, Manuel Guerra, deputy general director; Federico Torres, director of environment and security; and Néstor Martínez, exploitation manager.

The Chinese representatives expressed their satisfaction with the management of the PAV for the evolution of their logistics activities in Valencia and expressed their interest to reinforce and diversify them, without ruling out new projects. At the end of the meeting, the president of the PAV, Aurelio Martínez and Sun Jiakang, vice president of COSCO Shipping Group exchanged commemorative metopes of the meeting and as a gesture of will to reinforce the collaboration between both institutions.
