València, July 8th, 2020.- The President of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Aurelio Martínez, has held a meeting with the Secretary General of the National Association of Stevedoring Companies and Port Employment Centres (ANESCO), José Luis Romero, in which they discussed the situation of the stevedoring sector and the challenges for the future. This meeting is part of the round of contacts that the Secretary General of ANESCO is making since his appointment last June.

The meeting was also attended by the general director of the PAV, Francesc Sánchez, and the head of Exploitation of the PAV, Rubén Martín. On behalf of ANESCO, the members of the executive committee of the stevedoring have accompanied the general secretary: Elías García (COO of CSP Spain), Sven Valentin (director of MSC Terminal Valencia), José Luis Alabau (Senior Advisor of APMT Spain Gateway), and Sophia Linares Van Der Lem (Public and International Affairs of ANESCO).

The meeting was also attended by the Managing Director of APMT Spain Gateway, Carlos Arias, the Head of Terminals Europe of APMT, Igor van den Essen, the General Manager of the CSP Valencia terminal, Gustavo Ferrer and the Managing Director of the Valencia Port Employment Centre, Daniel Llera.
