On Monday, Valenciaport played host to the first call of a new line carrying passengers and vehicles between Valencia and the port of Mostaganem in Algeria.
To mark the call, the Port Authority of Valencia presented the captain of the “El Djazair II” vessel with a commemorative plaque at a ceremony held at the Clocktower Building in the Port of Valencia.
The event was attended by the Port Authority of Valencia’s General Manager, Francesc Sánchez; the Governor of Mostaganem province, Temmar Abdelwahid; the Director-General of Public Works, Carlos Domingo, and the Deputy Central Government representative in the Valencian Region, Juan Carlos Valderrama, as well as around a hundred guests from Algeria.
