A football tournament organised by Aportem and Atlético Nazaret will be held on 3 June
More than 400 children from the Nazaret neighbourhood and the Maritime District of Valencia will take part
València, 25th May 2022.- Aportem-Puerto Solidario Valencia and the Atlético Nazaret Club will organise on the 3rd of June the first Aportem solidarity football tournament aimed at the boys and girls of the Nazaret neighbourhood and the maritime district of the city of València. The event will also have the support of the Port Authority of Valencia, the Fundació del Valencia C.F. and the Fundación Cent Anys del Levante Unión Deportiva.
The event will take place at the Nazaret Municipal Sports Centre between 9am and 1pm and will bring together more than 400 schoolchildren aged between six and twelve. The Santiago Apostol, Ausìas March, Juan Manuel Montoya, Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, Nuestra Señora del Carmen and Ballester Fandos schools will take part in the event, which will bring together in this initiative whose aim is to promote solidarity, coexistence and sport among the children of the Maritime District, with special attention to those who are at risk of social exclusion.
In addition to Aportem and Atlético Nazaret, both the Port Authority of Valencia and the foundations of the city’s main football teams, Valencia CF and Levante UD, have thrown their support behind the idea, contributing their collaboration so that the sports and solidarity day can take place and become a space for coexistence that promotes the values of solidarity, the practice of physical exercise and the promotion of healthy habits.
Aportem – Puerto Solidario Valencia, is an association declared of public utility, totally private, formed by associations, institutions, companies and individuals linked to the port sector and the Maritime District of Valencia. Its action focuses above all on the environment of the Port of Valencia, with special attention to the care of the environment and children at risk of social exclusion.
