​Valenciaport has received this morning the visit of a delegation from the argentinian port of Quequén.

The entourage, led by its president, Arturo Rojas, has been received by Aurelio Martínez, president of Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Federico Torres, Safety and Environment Area Manager; José García de la Guía, Information Technology Area Manager; and Miguel Garín and Ana Rumbeu, representing the Valenciaport Foundation.

The meeting, which is part of a visit organized by Puertos del Estado to different Spanhish ports, has had as objective to show Valenciaport’s experience in environmental management, technology, control access and training. The visit has concluded with a tour around Noatum terminal where the visitors have checked how port operations work there.

According to Arturo Rojas, president of the port of Quequén, “this visit aims to see first hand the operation of one of the main ports of the Mediterranean. We have come to learn and to be trained. In fact, we are studying the possibility of continuing our training in other areas in Valencia. The port of Quequén is an enclosure in growth and, by this, need learn of all those ports that are in first level, as is the case of the port of Valencia”.
