Alicia Paz has occupied different heads of State Ports and has been a member of the Boards of Directors of various Spanish ports

València, October 6th, 2020.- Alicia Paz Antolín has been appointed as the new Secretary General of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), a post that was vacant until her appointment. Alicia Paz has a wide experience in the port sector having developed her professional career in the Ministry of Public Works and Town Planning where she has held different positions as head of State Ports.  She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of various Spanish ports, including the PAV between 2004 and 2008, and other public companies such as ASGART. The new Secretary General of PAV will be in charge of managing the organisational units of the Legal Office, Legal Support and the Board of Directors.

Alicia Paz has a degree in Law, has extensive experience as a teacher at the universities of La Coruña, Oviedo, Cádiz, and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and has participated in numerous congresses and events in the port sector. In addition, she has a wide academic training, among which a course from the Instituto de la Empresa (IE) in Corporate Governance and Management of the Port Activity or the Management Development Programme from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) stand out.
