The Container Traffic Working Group of the Seal of Guarantee has explained the solutions being carried out during the course of these works

The decrease in the levels of occupation at the terminals and their effect on road transport was explained

The Guarantee Mark Working Group held a working meeting to analyse issues related to container traffic operations in the Port of Valencia. Specifically, the Infrastructure Department of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) gave a presentation on the current situation and planning of the next phases of the works being carried out in the port area and which affect the internal circulation of vehicles. He also explained some of the circumstances that have arisen during the course of the works and the solutions that have been adopted, such as road diversions, temporary roundabouts and the execution of certain works at night.

With regard to the current operational situation in the Port of Valencia, a decrease in the levels of occupation in the terminals was noted, as well as less activity in the road transport sector linked to the port. In this sense, the influence of the current economic context on port activity was highlighted.

Other matters dealt with at the meeting were the speeding up of container transfers between terminals and the measures to solve the incidents in the Transport Orders before the arrival of the lorries at the terminal gates. In both cases, it was agreed to convene specific meetings to discuss these issues in more detail.

With regard to the project for sending warning messages via the ValenciaportPCS Land Transport APP, the progress of the project was presented, as well as the proposed message texts and the identified senders who will be able to disseminate these messages.

Finally, the new regulations of the so-called Transport Chain Act and their implications for port-related transport were discussed. Along these lines, it was proposed to analyse the possibility of carrying out training actions to clarify some of the doubts that are arising in the applicability of this law.
