- The Port Authority of València supports the ASCER Ceramics Awards for Architecture and Interior Design with the aim of giving visibility to the quality of the Spanish product and contributing to the promotion of its internationalisation
València, 26 February 2025.- Once again Valenciaport shows its support to the ceramic sector by sponsoring the Ceramics Awards for Architecture and Interior Design promoted by ASCER (Spanish Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers).
With the aim of giving visibility to the quality of the Spanish product and contributing to the promotion of its internationalisation, the Port Authority of València (PAV) took part last night in the presentation of these awards, which highlight the use of Spanish ceramics in architectural and interior design works all over the world.
Cristina Rodríguez, head of containers at the PAV, presented the Architecture Award to Javier López Bautista (for his project La Mirada Circular) and two special mentions on a night in which the important thing was to recognise the quality and excellence of a product that is exported to all corners of the world and which is easily recognisable in important international architectural works.
Rodríguez participated in the event together with the president of the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association (ASCER), Vicente Nomdedeu, and the rest of the sponsors. The Ceramic Awards have a solid track record and are highly recognised among professionals in the field of architecture.
Valenciaport and ASCER work hand in hand to improve the infrastructures and services that result in increasing the competitiveness of a key industrial sector for the Valencian and Spanish economy. In this sense, the tile industry is one of the main clients of the Port of València and a relevant player in the framework of national exports.
