As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have installed several monitoring stations strategically located around the port, enabling real-time monitoring of air quality.

Through these systems, we provide up-to-date information on various atmospheric parameters, enabling us to make informed decisions to protect the environment and ensure the safety and well-being of everyone. Our environmental monitoring stations are part of the Valencian Regional Government’s Air Quality Monitoring Network, and the data they generate is validated by that authority. Weather Forecast SAMOA

The PAV has joined the SAMOA project (Port Authority Meteorological and Oceanographic Support System), developed by Puertos del Estado to create a bespoke interface for the PAV, which integrates a range of systems for forecasting and measuring environmental conditions, such as high-resolution weather forecasting systems, real-time alerts and pollutant dispersion models, among others, which are useful for managing port operations.

The aim of the project is to improve oceanographic and meteorological systems, as well as forecasting and measurement of the physical environment, making this valuable information available to users within the port community and the general public.
