• The 10 buses that toured the port facilities displayed a “no tickets available” sign several days before the visit
  • More than 600 people have visited the port’s main terminals
  • The aim of this visit is to raise awareness of the role played by Valenciaport as an economic and logistical driving force in the Mediterranean

Valencia, October 27th 2025 – The port facilities in Valencia were filled with visitors on Saturday thanks to an initiative by Valenciaport to showcase the facilities from the inside. The event was fully booked, with more than 600 people touring the main terminals and learning about the port’s role as an economic and logistical hub in the Mediterranean.

A total of 10 buses left the Clock Building and took visitors to different areas of the port facilities. The tour was accompanied by an audio guide explaining how this modern infrastructure works, which serves foreign trade and is constantly adapting to the new demands of a global world.

During the hour-long tour, accompanied by an audio guide, participants were able to learn first-hand about the importance of Valenciaport in commercial activity, merchant ships and land transport of goods, which carry most of what is produced and consumed in the Valencian Community.

Great interest in learning about the port

The success of the activity exceeded the expectations of the Port Authority of Valencia (APV), which set up a pre-registration mechanism on its website. The great interest generated by these visits meant that the event was sold out several days in advance. These conferences belong to Valenciaport’s commitment to transparency and openness to the public, bringing the reality of the port closer to society and demonstrating the importance of its activity in the day-to-day life of the Valencian economy.
