​Gandia, April 25 2017. – The port of Gandia ended the first quarter of the year with a 1.88% increase in total traffic to 94,916 tonnes. Foreign trade rose by 2.32% in this period due to good export traffic, which rose by 43.51%. Conversely, imports fell by 14.61%.

Conventional general cargo increased by 5.20%, to a total of 94,407 tonnes. This growth was mainly due to goods such as paper and pulp, which decreased by 3.29%;

To 44,000 tonnes, wood and cork which fell by 18.75% to 18,000 tonnes, and chemical products that grew by 107.16% to 28,000 tonnes
