​Pre-booked visits to the Port Authority of Valencia’s facilities in the Port of Valencia are available to:

  • School visits. These visits are aimed at primary and secondary school teachers and pupils.
  • Specialised Training Centres, offering courses in foreign trade, logistics, transport, warehousing, etc., as well as sixth form colleges and vocational training centre teachers and pupils. The objective of these visits is to provide an insight into the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía based on the role they play in the Spanish and Valencia Region economies.
  • Saturday visits: these visits are for anybody who would like to get an insight into the port and see the role it plays in the Spanish and Valencian Region economies.

School visits

These free visits involve a boat trip around the commercial port and take place every working Wednesday (except in the months of January, July, August and December).

Visits start at 9.30am and last for around one hour. These visits are for groups of 50-140 people.

This visiting school must arrive at the meeting point (Edificio Servicios Auxiliares) 10 minutes before the visit is due to begin. The visiting school must come to the port by coach, which it must hire and pay for.

The visit is subject to suitable weather conditions.

The procedure to request a visit is as follows:

  • Fill in our Visit Request Form.
  • Print it out the form and the rules that must be adhered to during the visit.
  • Sign and seal (official school seal) both documents (this is compulsory for the request to be processed).
  • Send the visit request and the rules document by fax or email.

  • Visits cannot be arranged by phone or through third parties.

Specialised training centres

These free visits involve a multimedia presentation followed by a boat trip around the commercial port and take place every working Wednesday (except in the months of January, July, August and December).

Visits start at 11.30am and last for around two hours. These visits are for groups of 20-50 people. The minimum age of visitors is 16.

The visiting centre must arrive at the Port Authority of Valencia’s car park D 10 minutes before the visit is due to begin. The visiting centre must come to the port by coach, which it must hire and pay for.

The boat trip is subject to suitable weather conditions.

The procedure to request a visit is as follows:
