Valencia, 2 October 2025 – The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) has recently participated in Fruit Attraction 2025, the major international event for the fruit and vegetable sector, which brought together the leading operators, distributors and professionals in the agri-food sector in Madrid from 30 September to 2 October.

Specifically, Valenciaport was present at the ‘Puertos del Estado’ stand with a sales team led by Cristina Rodríguez, head of the container area. At this fair, the APV highlighted its excellent international connectivity, with more than 100 regular services globally, while strengthening its relationships with customers, suppliers and professionals in the transport and logistics of temperature-controlled products.

During 2024, fruit and vegetable products were exported from Valenciaport terminals to 99 countries around the world, with the United States, Brazil, Canada, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates being the top five destinations. In terms of imports, products from 79 countries were unloaded, with the top five being the United States, Egypt, Peru, China and Chile.

In this context, the Port Authority of Valencia continues to promote the logistics of perishable goods through improvements to its facilities, differentiated services and its commitment to multimodality. This sector is essential for numerous Spanish industries that export fruit and vegetables to the five continents via the docks of Valencia.

Fruit Attraction has established itself as a strategic platform for opening new markets and strengthening commercial relationships. It has therefore become an essential meeting point for Valenciaport and international operators in the fruit and vegetable sector. In this regard, the fair is the main promotional tool for the fruit and vegetable sector, with the aim of boosting international trade and promoting training and interaction among professionals throughout the value chain. This year, it brought together more than 2,200 exhibiting companies from 150 countries, with an attendance exceeding 120,000 professionals.
