València, 7 July 2025: The exhibition “Consciència en verd”, alongside the complementary display “New Fuels” and the special event held on 5 June to mark World Environment Day, has concluded with highly positive results. A total of 5,581 people visited the exhibitions over the 28 days they were open — from 2 to 29 June — with a daily average of 199 visitors, during uninterrupted opening hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Attendance remained steady throughout the month, peaking at weekends and on public holidays, with a noticeable increase as the exhibitions progressed. Visitors came from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and nationalities, with a majority being local residents, but also including national and international tourists. Notable groups included fans of Mafalda, environmentally conscious youth, families, school groups, friends, and regular attendees of previous exhibitions.
Among the groups with booked visits were: TAES training schools, Padre Jofré Hospital, Cadir Training Centre, mental health and senior citizen organisations from València, Red Cross volunteer groups from El Cabanyal, neighbourhood associations from Mislata, Eduso groups from La Llum and Campolivar, as well as homemakers and long-standing followers of the Clock Building’s cultural activities. Many groups came on recommendation or after hearing about the event via radio, social media, or the press. Each group was welcomed with a tailored introduction to both the historical context of the Clock Building and the contents of the exhibition.
The special event held on 5 June, titled “New Fuels”, was a resounding success. Experts from companies such as Baleària, Moeve, Repsol Technology Lab, MAN Energy, Scania Ibérica, and the Chema Ballester Group took part to discuss the research, uses, and applications of sustainable fuels in both maritime and land transport sectors.
The exhibition space was also praised for its excellent accessibility, accommodating visitors with reduced mobility. All exhibition elements — signage, QR codes, passageways, and text heights — were designed to ensure full inclusion.
The interactive area proved to be one of the most popular attractions, especially on weekends, attracting not only children but also teenagers and adults, many of whom actively took part in creative activities. Numerous older visitors took home artwork from the exhibition. The workshops held during the month were fully booked, confirming the Clock Building’s role as a vibrant hub of cultural and educational activity. Public response was overwhelmingly positive, with daily messages of appreciation received in multiple languages and growing curiosity about future exhibitions. This edition confirms the community’s strong commitment to sustainability and reinforces the Port of València’s position as a benchmark in environmental awareness and cultural engagement.
