
València, 20 March 2025.- Puertos del Estado is organising the 1st Port Sector Congress, in collaboration with the Port Authority of València, to be held from 4 to 6 November in València.
The event arises from the need to bring together in a single global forum all the issues that mark the agenda of the logistics-port sector at a time of change and uncertainty at the geopolitical and international trade level.
Thus, for three days, national and international experts will discuss the challenges facing the sector in areas such as technological innovation, sustainability, new trends in logistics… with the aim of turning challenges into opportunities to boost the efficiency and competitiveness of a key sector for the economic development of Spain.
The Congress is aimed at Port Authorities, public administrations, logistics and maritime transport companies, port operators and terminal operators, port and commercial service providers, suppliers, investors, but also energy companies, universities and research centres, start-ups, consultancies and, in general, professionals from sectors related to the port ecosystem. On the table during these three days of round tables, conferences and networking, issues such as the need to explore new business and investment models in the sector; the promotion of public-private collaboration; how to tackle decarbonisation and sustainability in port infrastructures, or how to promote the use of new technologies to improve the efficiency and safety of the logistics chain linked to the ports.
