Valenciaport received yesterday the visit of the maximum representatives of Uganda railways interested in the implantation of technologies that accelerate the operations of intermodal logistics, the access of the railways to the terminals and the cargo management.

The delegation, led by the President and the CEO of Uganda Railways Corporation, Charles Kateeba and Hannington Karuhanga, respectively, was accompanied by the Deputy Director of Strategic Planning of the Port Authority of Valencia, Ramón Gómez-Ferrer, the President of Consultrans, Julián García Valverde; Falko Mathews, director of the company’s Uganda project; and the commercial manager of Renfe, Mª José Díaz.

The meeting ended with a visit to Noatum Container Terminal Valencia, the largest terminal in the port of Valencia and leader of container traffic in the Mediterranean.
