This Christmas Valenciaport has prepared a very special exhibition to bid farewell to the year with the best smile in the hands of 19 cartoonists from the Valencian Community. The Clock Building of the Port of Valencia is hosting the exhibition ‘La Comunitat de l’humor. Referents gràfics valencians al port’, in which, through 190 cartoons, visitors will be able to discover the work of Valencian artists who deal with current affairs through drawing and wit. A good plan to spend with the family during these dates and to approach the iconic building of the Port of Valencia to enjoy an experience for all audiences in a privileged environment of the city of Valencia.

La Comunitat de l’humor. Referents gràfics valencians al port’ has a space for children to carry out activities that bring them closer to the world of graphic humour. Children can draw and colour characters from the cartoons on display in the exhibition, developing their ingenuity and learning techniques with different materials.

The exhibition, which can be visited until 5 February between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. free of charge, shows the work of 19 cartoonists: Daniella Martí, Diana Raznovich, E. Hormigós, El Gat Invisible, Enrique, Harca, J. Aldeguer, L. Sánchez, Lalo Kubala, Lamber, Malagón, Manel Gimeno, Ortifus, Quique, Salazar, Sebas, Xipell, Yordi and Zo. The aim is to have a good time, to get to know the work of a selection of creators from our Comunitat and to encourage reflection among the visitors who come to the ‘Casal del Port’.

The exhibition is organised by the Port Authority of Valencia (APV) and has the collaboration of the University of Alcalá de Henares and the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humour.

With ‘La Comunitat de l’humor. Referents gràfics valencians al port’, the Clock Building is once again transformed into a point of reflection, which enlivens the critical spirit and reflects the concerns of the citizens, strengthening the port-city link for which the APV is committed and positioning itself as one of the points of reference for cultural activity in Valencia.
