The Port Authority of Valencia is open to society. Within this policy of openness, people have the chance to visit the Valenciaport's facilities as long as they book in advance. Apart from institutional visits, which have their own special procedure, there are basically two types of visits, depending on the kind of person involved:

-          Visits from schools. These visits have been suspended temporarily.

-          Visits from specialised training centres, such as foreign trade, logistics, transport and storage, etc. The aim of these visits is to "present" the Ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía to future professionals in the trade, with special emphasis being placed on the importance of Valenciaport for the Spanish economy in general and the Valencian economy in particular.
