In line with its Environmental Policy, environmental aims of Valencia Port Authority are:

-          To include environmental considerations in the processes of planning, developing, managing and preserving the public domain status of the port.

-          To systematically and regularly analyse and evaluate the activities, products and services of companies that may interact with the environment.

-          To rationalise the use of natural resources and energy.

-          To comply with environmental legal requirements and even go beyond what is strictly regulation.

-          To prevent and minimise emissions, wastes, noise and residues generated as a consequence of port activities.

-          To use and promote the use of the best technologies available for each activity.

-          To appropriately train and raise the awareness of personnel in order to promote the development of its environmental policy.

-          To write up and circulate environmental reports.

-          To update the mentioned aims through a continual improvement process.
