The Logistic Activities Zone (ZAL) of the Port of Valencia is a multimodal distribution centre dedicated to maritime goods logistics, rounding out the logistics services provided by the Port of Valencia.

The ZAL enables companies located here to improve their competitive edge in terms of cost and timing, thanks to:

-          Preferential location in a zone connected to the Port of Valencia.

-          Complete connections network to major national and international centres by road and rail.

-          Extensive land plots adaptable to the requirements of each customer.

-          Wide range of business and social services.

In addition, the ZAL offers specific advantages for each type of customer: cargo / reception companies, logistic operators and transit agents.

Construction is currently underway – having started at the end of May 2003 – and is estimated to continue for 24 months. The building of warehouses will start up as soon as a minimum level of urban development has been reached, and it is estimated that Valenciaport’s ZAL will be operational by 2005.
