Valencia Port Authority, as a promoter of quality port services, applies similar criteria to its internal management.
The following initiatives that APV has implemented in its internal quality management are of particular note:
- Certification, conforming to the European ISO 9001:2000 quality standard, of all key internal processes, such as the management of the public domain and the administration of maritime traffic.
- The implementation of process management standards, based on the definition, measuring and ongoing management of existing internal processes.
- The creation of improvement groups, applying Seis Sigma (6s) management methods.
